Education services

The British Council - Bangladesh offers an education information service to its growing student customer base. On average, we handle 180+ enquiries in a given week. We are equipped with education directories, journals and newsletters sent to us by all the major British institutions. We also have CD ROM, Internet access and institutional videos. We hold more than 100 university prospectuses and over 60 college information brochures.

We also provide the following services:

Our enquiry desk is open five days a week from Saturday to Wednesday 1000 - 1800 providing instant and accurate information on UK education matters.

An education information officer is present in the library five days a week to provide information and to guide students in selecting suitable courses and completing application forms.

We can provide access to the internet for students to browse through Web sites of the many UK institutions

We hold interviews and host presentations by British institutions at the British Council regularly to promote British education

Information sheets are provided for prospective students which give details on topics such as: Tuition fees, visas and general immigration requirements.

British education offers a range of opportunities to suit all ages and abilities. Opportunities are available for Bangladeshi students in independent schools (6-18 years old) colleges of further education (16 years and above), Colleges of Higher Education and Universities (18 years and above).
