How to find us
The English Department (Vakgroep Engels) is in Rozier, a small street (about 100 metres) running east-west about one kilometre to the south of Gent city centre, between the Leie and the Bovenschelde. It is opposite the tower of the university library, which is the highest point in Gent.

If you are arriving by car, metered parking, at a reasonable rate, is available in Rozier and all the surrounding streets, but you should allow time to find a space.

If you are coming from Gent St-Pieters station.......
take any tram whose first digit is a '1' (=1,10,11,12,13) and get off at the fifth stop (opposite a Spar supermarket);
you will find yourself at a crossroads. Turn sharp right and walk up the hill along St-Kwintinsberg;
at the first opportunity (after about 100 metres), turn left, cross the street in front of you and you will be in Rozier;
Rozier 44 is the main entrance to the large 19th century building on your left, about 50 metres along the street;
walk in the main entrance and turn right. The English department is straight in front of you.
