Europlus is an exciting new publication aimed at children at upper primary and lower secondary level.

The workbook takes the reader on a journey through the 13 countries that have recently applied to join the European Union. There is information on each country's history, geography, culture and customs, so the material can be used across many strands of the national curriculum.

The accompanying Teacher's Notes provide suggestions for further activities.

Europlus can be ordered from the European Resource Centres.

There are also other resources available at Lower Secondary Level and Upper Secondary and College Level including the links section of our website. Within the links section, the page on applicant states supports many of the topics mentioned in Europlus.

The European Resource Centres can also send booklets covering more specific subjects, maps, posters, videos and CD Roms, and teachers can also be sent group sets of certain publications.

The European Treasure Chest for Secondary Schools is also available on loan from your local ERC.
