Council of Europe in-service training programme
for educational staff
The Council of Europe in-service training programme enables teachers, headteachers, teacher trainers, school inspectors and other educational staff from the forty-seven countries of the Council for Cultural Co-operation Member States (which is part of the Council of Europe) to take part in in-service training courses.
These courses take place over three to five days and cover a wide variety of themes from Human rights and children's rights in Belgium to Drama and civic education in Bulgaria
The courses enable educational staff to:
The course fee and accommodation costs for the duration of the course are met by the host country. Travel costs are reimbursed by the Council of Europe after the course has ended and participants are expected to write a 1,000 word report about the course
