Special announcement: Online Materials for Teaching and Learning English - join our new research project, receive free resources and the chance to attend the 38th annual IATEFL Conference in Liverpool, April 2004.

ELTeCs fosters networking between ELT professionals worldwide, particularly on a regional and cross-border basis. The aim of ELTeCS is to help ELT professionals work together for their own professional development and for improvements in practice in their regions. ELTeCS helps them to share information, create partnerships, and work together on projects.

ELTeCS:

  • has seven regional electronic discussion lists
  • provides further information via this website and ELTeCS info, the annual handbook
  • funds regional projects run by members
  • funds regional events.

Membership

There are over 10,000 members worldwide, in seven regions:

Europe and Central Asia, East Asia, China, South Asia, India, Latin America, and Africa and the Middle East.

Joining ELTeCS is free of charge and open to all ELT professionals worldwide.
