English in Britain accreditation

Accreditation scheme marque If you're offering ELT courses in the UK, we strongly recommend that you get English in Britain Accreditation so that you can demonstrate to agents and the general public that your courses meet students' expectations.

Marketing English Language Courses

If you're just starting up in the business, the British Council's guide to marketing English language courses can help you. It provides basic information on how to get into the ELT market, and lists useful contacts.

British Council promotional services

Established institutions which are accredited by the English in Britain Scheme can gain access to additional promotional services through the British Council's worldwide network.
Accredited institutions and freelance consultants can also join GETIS, the British Council's web and email-based market information service for anyone involved in the overseas marketing of UK education and training services.

ELT Innovation Awards

the 'Eltons' awards The British Council runs the annual ELT Innovation Awards to promote the best of state-of-the-art UK-based English language teaching.

The awards are open to all producers of ELT goods and services, including examinations, course and resource books for learners and teachers, online materials and academic research.
