Promoting and rewarding excellence in English Language Teaching, the British Council Innovation Awards give you an opportunity to win recognition and a cash prize of 1,000.

We are looking for examples of groundbreaking UK-based English language teaching in the following areas:

  • UK research in the area of English language learning and teaching
  • UK English language teaching materials
  • UK English language teaching products and services

There will be three award winners each of whom who will receive a prize of £1,000. Additionally, institutions which have supported winners and runners-up will be featured in special materials which will be used to promote UK English language teaching through British Council offices round the world.

Shortlist for 2004 Awards

We are pleased to announce the list of the 11 shortlisted organisations and products for the British Council EducationUK Innovation Awards 2004. From this list 3 award winners will be announced at the Award Ceremony on Thursday 4 March 2004 at Delfina Gallery in Bermondsey, London.
