What are the terms and conditions of membership ?
Individual members are allowed to borrow up to four items at any one time: three books for a period of two weeks and one audio visual item for one week. Daily fines on overdue items will be charged at 10 cents for each book and 25 cents for audio visual materials. Under exceptional circumstances it could be possible to arrange an extended loan period if agreed in advance with the Library and Information Manager.
Items can be renewed in person or by telephone as long as another library member has not reserved them. Reservations can be made by completing a reservation slip at the Returns Desk. You will be informed by telephone when the item becomes available and it will then be held for two or three days.
Videos are available to all Home Video members for home viewing only. Membership can be obtained by completing a Registration Form, which requires a sponsor, and paying an annual fee of 160 Nakfa.
