To promote British examinations in Yemen and to facilitate students taking those examinations, we offer a comprehensive, secure and professional examination administration for a range of UK examinations.

The English language exams offered in Yemen include:

  • Key English Test (KET)
  • Preliminary English Test (PET)
  • First Certificate in English (FCE)
  • Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

(IELTS) examination is widely recognised as a language requirement for further and higher education. It is the chosen language test of many universities in the United Kingdom.

British secondary school exams in Yemen

We administer a range of British secondary school exams to pupils at private schools, as well as to individuals who register with us. Amongst the most well known internationally are:

  • General Certificate of Education (GCE) O Levels. These ordinary level qualifications are well known and respected examinations in the humanities, arts and sciences. Students take up to ten subjects, normally studied over a two-year period.

  • International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). The IGCSE offers a balanced international curriculum designed to encourage high academic standards through a practical approach to teaching and learning. The 2-year curriculum leads to an internationally recognised qualification.

Professional and University examinations

We administer a wide range of examinations on behalf of British professional bodies and universities. This allows residents in Yemen to take examinations as part of a distance learning course leading to an internationally recognised qualification in subjects that range from accountancy to management.
